About GeoGenius

GeoGenius is an AI visibility platform for real estate agents. It measures whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok recommend an agent when a buyer or seller asks, publishes the public record of who the engines actually name, and gives agents a machine-readable profile that the engines can parse and cite.

The 36-market study

Every number GeoGenius publishes traces back to a study we ran ourselves: 720 live probes across ChatGPT, Grok, Google AI and Claude in 36 US markets. The engines cited 1,002 distinct domains, and only 19 of those were cited by all four. Which sources an engine trusts varies sharply by market, so being visible in one is not being visible in all. The full write-up is at /ai-report.

How the AI Citation Index is built

GeoGenius asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok the questions a buyer or seller would ask about a market — who the best agents are, who to hire to sell, who to use to buy — and records every agent each engine names, with the response and the date. A person is published in the AI Citation Index once at least two responses, or two different engines, have named them; a metro is listed once five agents in it have cleared that bar. Lists are ordered by evidence: distinct engines, then distinct responses, then recency. Payment and advertising play no part, contact details are never published, and removal requests go to legal@geogenius.ai.

Brokerage Rankings

The Brokerage Rankings roll the same index up to core brokerage brands: in every ranked metro, the agents the engines name are grouped by the brokerage they work for and ranked by how many of a brokerage's agents the engines actually name — presence in AI recommendations, not sales volume, headcount or quality.
