AI Citation Index: real estate agents AI recommends, by metro

The GeoGenius AI Citation Index records which real estate agents ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok actually name when asked for an agent in a specific market. It currently lists 6177 agents across 143 metros, each named in at least two responses or by two different engines, and holds 8034 further candidates that have not yet cleared that bar. The deepest coverage today is in Seattle, WA, Bellevue, WA, Los Angeles, CA. Every metro page shows who was named, by which engines, how often and when; the order reflects that evidence, never payment. Last citation recorded Oct 14, 2026.

How this index is built

GeoGenius asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok the questions a buyer or seller would ask about a market and records every agent each engine names. An agent is published once at least two responses, or two different engines, have named them; a metro is listed once 5 agents in it have cleared that bar. 158 more metros are recorded but not yet listed. The method mirrors our published 36-market study at https://geogenius.ai/ai-report.

Frequently asked questions

What is the AI Citation Index?
A public record of the real estate agents that ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok name when asked for an agent in a market. GeoGenius runs the questions, stores every answer and publishes the agents that are named repeatedly.
How does a metro get listed?
A metro appears once at least 5 agents in it have cleared the evidence bar (named in two responses, or by two different engines). Metros below that are recorded but not listed.
Can I use this data?
Yes. Each metro has a JSON endpoint at /agents/{metro}.json with the public fields only (name, brokerage, engines, response counts, dates, website). Contact details are never published.
